Decide which credential is right for you. For a broad study security management consider CPP. If you are specifically interested in the selection, project management and evaluation of physical security measures consider PSP.
- Contact ISMI® and enrol on your chosen preparation programme. enquiries@ismi.org.uk Demand is expected to be high and class sizes are limited to ensure an interactive experience.
- Purchase your study materials. CPP is based on the ASIS POA Manual plus specific ASIS standards and guidelines; click here. PSP is based on a different set of books; click here.
- Register for your examination. This is done by application and credit card payment to ASIS. Information is at https://www.asisonline.org/Certification/Apply-for-Certification/Pages/default.aspx Once approved, ASIS will send you details on how to book your examination appointment at the nearest Prometric CBT centre. If you would like your application reviewed before sending, ISMI® will be happy to oblige.
- Begin using your ISMI® home-study pack. The pack is designed to be used at any time, before or after your three days of instruction in class. It will be made available 4 weeks before your course begins.
- Attend your chosen ISMI® CPP or PSP Preparation Programme on your chosen dates.
- Set up a home study network with your class colleagues and continue to engage with ISMI® for telephone coaching and support.
- Pass the exam!
